Sales Executive – RSR 8619

Location: London

 

Job Purpose and Context

The Sales Executive will take a lead sales role in winning business within the Local Government Housing Benefits Marketplace. Working closely with existing and prospective clients, the Head of Strategic Sales, and the Operational Management, this role contributes to success within both, product sales and higher value, complex procurements.

 

Outline of Routine Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities

·         Achievement of results against pre-set sales targets

·         Day to day individual sales lead responsibility and ownership of sales lead product opportunities

·         To ensure all prospects being handled are progressed in line with SunGard Aspiren’s Sales Strategy.

·         To ensure bids and proposals are based on acceptable and agreed financial and commercial terms.

·         Prioritise and schedule work to manage conflicting workload requirements to achieve efficient and effective output.

·         To bring and build relationships with prospects, partners and industry organisations

·         Pre-empt contract notices

·         Utilise OGC’s Catalyst and other procurement frameworks and where possible avoid expensive full tender procurement

·         To ensure sales solutions are based on acceptable and agreed operational solutions.

·         Lead internal and customer presentations as part of individual sales activities.

·         Produce accurate and timely information, particularly with respect to sales forecast information.

·         Achieve successful time management with the split workload arising from ownership of multiple prospects and other sales related activities.

·         Ensure accurate data provided to Contact Management Systems and Sales Forecasts to support management reporting.

·         Researching new opportunities in line with business capability and strategy

·         Remaining commercially astute and informed about market place changes
